Project Contributions

Literature in Context
In my work as a research assistant for the inter-university, NEH-funded project “Literature in Context,” I use literary research and XML coding skills to create reliable, free digital editions of commonly studied texts for use by students, teachers, and professors.

Queering CBW
In this project, I applied principles of queer theory to Alison Booth’s ongoing Collective Biographies of Women project to evaluate the database’s searchability by researchers and useability by project collaborators in order to determine realistic next steps for improvement.

AI & Jane Austen
This collaborative digital humanities project analyzed ChatGPT’s ability to “write like Jane Austen.” For my part, I looked specifically at its ability to create Austen-esque plots and performed narrative analysis comparing the AI-generated results with Austen’s works.
My Materials
Here you can find my dossier and a Google Drive folder containing the essays, practical work, presentation slides, etc. that I have produced over the course of UVA’s Digital Humanities Certificate Program.
